Born on July 26, 1985, Dasun Pathirana is a renowned figure in Sri Lankan cinema, theater, and television, recognized for both his modeling and acting talents. He achieved recognition by clinching the Best Actor in a Leading Role award at Indie Fest 2014. Furthermore, he was honored with his inaugural Sarasaviya award in 2018.
In his early life, Pathirana attended Carey College, Colombo, and subsequently pursued a passion for drama and acting under the tutelage of Mahendra Perea's Academy of Acting and Drama. Within his family, he had a younger sister named Deshani, born in 1996.
