His dance journey truly took flight in 2008 when he participated in the second season of the Derana Little Star reality program. This experience marked a significant milestone in his burgeoning career, as he secured the position of the first runner-up in the competition.[1] Subsequently, in 2014, he aligned himself with the dance group of Gayan Srimal through the Sirasa Dancing Star program.[4]
In 2016, Madushan's talents propelled him to participate in the eighth season of "Derana Dance Unlimited," a competition bringing together winners from previous Little Star seasons. Alongside Anjani Shalanika, he clinched the title, solidifying his prowess in the dance realm. His journey continued to evolve in 2019 when he engaged in the Hiru Super Dancer program, where he earned the runner-up position.[3] It was during this program that his foray into television acting was catalyzed.
