Vinu Udani Siriwardana, born on March 10, 1992, in Colombo, Sri Lanka, is a Sri Lankan actress, model, and TV presenter. She attended Anula Vidyalaya for her education. Vinu has been active in the entertainment industry since 2012. In that year, she achieved the prestigious title of Miss Sri Lanka 2012, sharing the crown with Sumudu Prasadini.
Aside from her successful career, Vinu also found love and tied the knot with Kasun Liyanage in 2020. Her talent and dedication have earned her recognition and accolades in the industry.

The official event took place on March 31, 2012, at Blue Water, Wadduwa, where Vinu won the 'Derana Veet Miss Sri Lanka for Miss World 2012' title. However, a calculation error occurred, and on April 4, 2012, Sumudu Prasadini was crowned the winner at a ceremony held at Galle Face Hotel, Colombo. It was then decided that both Vinu and Sumudu would share the main title, with Sumudu representing Sri Lanka at the Miss World 2012 pageant in China on August 18, 2012.
Apart from the main title, Vinu also won the 'Miss Talent' title at one of the mini pageants during the event. She also received the title of 'Sunday Observer Most Popular Contestant' by obtaining the highest number of public votes through the Sunday Observer newspaper. Vinu had the opportunity to represent Sri Lanka at the 18th Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International pageant held in Nanjing, China. She competed for the main title as well as two mini titles, 'Best in Talent' and 'Best National Costume.' Vinu successfully reached the top ten finalists in the 'Best in Talent' category and top 25 in the 'Best National Costume' category.
Vinu began her acting career in the teledrama Pipena Mal, playing the supporting role of Parami. However, her most notable performance as an actress was in the teledrama Tharumalee, where she portrayed the character "Tharumalee." She also showcased her talent through acting in several music videos.
