She subsequently represented Sri Lanka at the Tourism World contest. Despite her initial interest in pursuing a career in law, she decided to pursue her potential in acting and music after her success in the pageant. Noshika's career began with appearances in commercials for Coca-Cola and Nestlé, before she was offered a role in the teledrama Kindurangana, a joint production between Balaji Telefilms of India and the Maharaja organization of Sri Lanka. In 2009, she made her debut in the film industry with a leading role in the critically acclaimed and commercially successful movie Nino Live. In 2017, she released her second single, Chewing Gum (Wage Kollo), and also guest-starred in the film Rush. She played the lead role in Kasun Pathirana's debut film Knight Rider, marking her third appearance in the cinema industry.</p>
