C. College in Hanguranketha, followed by secondary education at Dharmaraja College in Kandy. He excelled in college stage dramas and was a member of the school's esteemed drama crew in 1988. His talent earned him the award for the best actor in inter-school competitions in the same year. Roshan is deeply rooted in his family and follows the principles of Buddhism. He has two older brothers, Kapila and Chathura, as well as an older sister named Thrishara.
