She is the only child of her parents, with her father Ajith Lionel working as a businessman and her mother Shyamalee Pieris being a housewife. She attended Vidayakara Balika Vidyalaya in Maharagama from 1998 to 2008, actively participating in drama and art circles and serving as an announcer for school events. In 2009, she moved to Visakha Vidyalaya in Colombo 05 and completed her A-levels in 2011. Sachini graduated with a first-class degree in Marketing Management (B.Sc. She hosted various children's programs, such as "Amuthu Muthu," "Lassana Ahasa," and "Ammai Mamai."
