Born on December 27, 1961, Niromi Sanoja Bibile (Sinhala: සනෝජා බිබිලේ) is a prominent actress in the Sri Lankan cinema and television industry.[1][2] Her journey in the entertainment world began with compelling dramatic performances, which later transitioned into impressive comedic roles. Sanoja gained significant fame for portraying the characters of Mali Nandani in the TV series Nonavaruni Mahathvaruni and Miss Kitty in the 1996 movie Cheriyo Darling.
In addition to her acting prowess, Sanoja Bibile achieved the prestigious title of Miss Sri Lanka through a beauty pageant competition.

Sanoja's father, Sumith Bibile, was an actor known for his appearances in films such as "Umathu Wishwasaya" and "Asoka." He was born on November 30, 1930, in Kandy and passed away on September 5, 2017. He received his education at Dharmaraja College. Her mother's name is Nandanie Dehigama. Sanoja completed her education at Girls' High School in Kandy.
On November 4, 2019, she was involved in an accident at 8:45 am on Deans Road, Maradana, and sustained minor injuries. She was hospitalized for treatment.
Sanoja made her debut in cinema with the 1987 film "Mangala Thegga," directed by H.D. Premaratne. Some of her notable films include "Awaragira," "Cheriyo Darling," "Ra Daniel Dawal Migel 3," and "Supiri Andare." In 2000, she ventured into film production with the movie "Alu Yata Gini."
She has also appeared in the music video for the song "Ashokamala" sung by Sunil Malawana.

Sanoja has faced some controversies during her career. In 2012, she was allegedly threatened with a sword by the husband of the Chief Medical Officer of the Kataragama hospital. In 2015, her car was broken into, and cash, a mobile phone, and jewelry were stolen while she was attending the funeral of actress Damitha Saluwadana in Boralesgamuwa.
