Kanishka Prasad Wijerathna, widely known as "Chubby boy," is a multi-talented individual with roles as an Actor, Vocalist, Musician, Presenter, and Dubbing Artist at TV Derana since December 31, 2014. He pursued his education at St. Benedict's College in Kotahena, Sri Lanka. While originally from Colombo, Sri Lanka, he currently resides in Scarborough, Toronto.

Kanishka obtained his Graduate Food and Beverage education from the prestigious Swiss Lanka Hotel School during the school year of 2015. Furthermore, he also pursued studies in Hotel, Restaurant & Tourism Management/Marketing at Swiss Lanka Hotel School, during the school year of 2014 in Scarborough, Toronto.

Presently, he calls Colombo, Sri Lanka his current town/city of residence, while his hometown since 2014 is Colombo as well. In recent times, Kanishka embarked on a new professional journey at TV Derana.
