Randika Gunathilaka, born on April 10th, 1991 in Colombo, Sri Lanka, is a popular actor in the Sinhala television and film industry. He completed his education at D.S. Senanayake College in Colombo before enrolling at the University of the Visual and Performing Arts to pursue acting. Randika gained recognition for his role as Adithya (Adi) in the widely acclaimed teledrama "Derana Podu" and is currently starring in the ongoing teledrama "Rella," which is being broadcasted on Hiru TV.
In the realm of cinema, Randika made his debut in the Sinhala film industry with the short horror film "Testimony of Silence," directed by Hilusha Hewagama, alongside actors Sanjeewa Pathirage and Pramoda Sasalanka. The film was released on December 20, 2019. His first full-length film, "Earth," a drama directed by Visakesa Chandrasekaram, was released on August 21, 2020. In this film, Randika shared the screen with notable Sri Lankan actors such as Nita Fernando, Nadie Kammallaweera, and Jagath Manuwarna.
On the small screen, Randika made his television debut in the action-crime series "Podu," directed by Sharmila Dharmarasa Fonseka, where he played a lead role alongside Salwathura Lahiruni Rasadri Peiris. The series premiered on November 28, 2020. In 2021, he appeared in the music video "Hadisida Manda" with Kanchana Anuradhi, directed by Chamil Pathirana, which was released on November 5, 2021.
