This comedic masterpiece stars Rodney Warnakula, Mahendra Perera, and Paboda Sandeepani in leading roles, supported by Richerd Manamudali and Sriyantha Mendis. The film's musical score, crafted by Ananda Perera, adds a delightful dimension to the storytelling. "Gindari: Bahubuthayo 2" is the 1225th Sri Lankan film in the rich tapestry of Sinhala cinema. Building on the events of the previous film, "Bahubuthayo," we find Lanti and Bunty now working as journalists. However, their peaceful lives take a supernatural turn when Tikiri, an evil spirit, enters their world. Tikiri ends up cohabiting with Lanti and Bunty while assisting them with their work. Trouble brews when a misleading news report concerning a minister leads to a dramatic encounter. The enraged minister pays a visit to Bunty and Lanti's home, resulting in a physical altercation. Strangely, the minister becomes captivated by Tikiri's beauty and forcefully takes her to work in his ministry office. Renaming Tikiri as Tikri, the minister becomes smitten with her. Meanwhile, due to familial pressures, Bunty marries Malkanthi. However, their marriage is far from harmonious, marked by frequent quarrels that eventually lead to Malkanthi leaving Bunty. As the story unfolds, Tikiri rejects the minister's advances and returns to the home she shares with Bunty and Lanti. From there, a series of comedic and mysterious events ensue as the journalists grapple with the challenge of ridding their home of this supernatural presence. The stellar cast includes Paboda Sandeepani in the role of Tikiri, Mahendra Perera as Lanti, Rodney Warnakula as Bunty, Richerd Manamudali as Chaminda, Sriyantha Mendis as Minister Edwin Balachandra, and Lochana Imashi as Malkanthi.
